Mission Statement - Recruiting Revolution
Champion U Consulting was formed to shift the power balance away from Corporate America and the Employment Industrial Complex by advocating for reasonable, unburdensome progressive, and reformative strategies to initiate a long overdue overhaul of the recruiting selection process and to expand Workers' Rights for the American job seeker. We seek to make the American Dream a reality for those who dare to dream and have the temerity to pursue it.

The Enemies of Progress
Corporate America presently enjoys monumental advantages over job seekers through brokering crony capitalist sweetheart deals with government officials. Corporate America's influence in policy-making and lobbying can shape regulations and economic conditions, potentially favoring their hiring practices and creating a more challenging environment for job seekers.

Since many regulations intended to help job seekers are largely unenforceable, Corporate America gets away with implementing unfair, one-sided, and discriminatory selection processes to maximize their negotiating power at the expense of the ordinary job seeker's honest attempt at upward economic mobility.


The Sell-Outs of Progress
Instead of critiquing the injustices in Corporate America's selection process and advocating for recruiting reforms, the Employment Industrial Complex mindlessly perpetuates employer dominance by repeating outdated norms, crystallizing "prevailing wisdom" designed to maintain Corporate America's hegemony, and spreading ways of thinking that marginalize workers with their dim, predictable, cut-and-paste boilerplate advice.

These are the corporate recruiters, staffing agencies, online influencers, college career services, independent job coaches, and service providers who profit as the unwitting spokes in the wheel of worker oppression - and that double as the gatekeepers of a broken, inefficient, classist, and discriminatory selection process.


Action Plan 
Champion U Consulting will assist in leveling the playing field for the ordinary job seeker against Corporate America by spearheading new "Workers' Rights" initiatives, challenging the outdated suppositions of the Employment Industrial Complex, and educating job seekers to reform their self-sabotaging ways. 

1) Challenge and shatter decades of outdated advice that is still promoted by the Employment Industrial Complex and confront job seekers self-sabotaging habits and thought patterns via our incisive, investigatory, and uncompromising blogs. 
 

2) Initiate call-out campaigns against offending companies that institute discriminatory, unfair, time-consuming, and tedious selection practices toward job seekers - which often have negative far-reaching effects on the American labor force and our overall economy.


3) Collaborate with pro-worker-friendly organizations to resurrect the prominence of the private union to combat the overwhelming resource advantages that Corporate America possesses over the ordinary job seeker, through strength in numbers.


4) Enshrine a "Job Seekers Bill of Rights" into federal law across all 50 states to ensure fair and equal treatment for all job seekers with petition drives and viral content to induce political pressure for change.


5) Provide affordable services and tools to assist job seekers in achieving their career dreams.
